What is wordcreates?

It’s the word that make things happen.  My entire work life has revolved around words…  Worked in the media industry for 12 years and then in the communication sector for another 12 years.

In the year 1993 the turning point in my life happened after 24 years of work, when I applied my mind on Neuroscience – Brain Biology.  I was fascinated.

Today I talk about how the brain works.. hmmm!!!!! that’s quite tiresome to listen, and I found most people switch off due to stress so I started combining some Mythology with my talk.

Hence this head fusion called wordcreates.  Adding Mythology to Neuroscience and any which way.

It’s surely fun the possibilities are immense when you know how to work your so-called ‘weakness’ through your strengths and vice versa.

Dear Godman I need help !!!!!

Dear Dr Paul Dinakaran,

Greetings.  I was feeling low, down and out.  This huge poster grabbed my attention and so I thought of writing this letter to you.

I am a student of 12 std.  Like most students I don’t like to study, but I like to get good marks.  I would not mind going to the corners of the earth to understand how to do that.

Thats is why Iam approaching you.  Can you please pray for me ?

I feel a little delicate to bring this up to you, I hope you will understand. I have been terrible with play station too my kid sister takes me to the cleaners every time. While praying for my studies can you pray that I do well with my Play station too?  My confidence is at the lowest level and my self esteem is low it will be of great help, at least in the short term, if I can see gods hand at work in my games.  My faith in his ability to help me in my board exams will take a big leap.

After all god honors the faith right ?

Sincerely

a dude who sucks in studies and in play station

The science behind a healthy lifestyle

So how can I  slim down? shed my fat? The first thing that probably props into your mind will be exercise/diet/fitness center etc.  Does these work?  How many people have you seen have cribbed about not being able to exercise or diet regularly.  Hey in my case I was lean, and wanted to add some muscles, someone advised swimming….. I swam my heart out in the evenings.. got myself so tired that i started hogging my dinner and actually ended up with a pot belly, which I still carry with elan even now.

I observed those who were meticulous in counting their calories,  managing their exercising regimen, or dieting with an aid of a disciplined monitoring mechanism did a lot better. What these successful people do is,  put their body in the center of their life and living.  They are so obsessed with themselves, they admire themselves in front of the mirrors, check their weights regularly, read about it, talk about it… its numbers numbers all the way.  I have also noticed that these group of people generally dont talk much and the only sound that comes out from them is the big sigh!!!! when they carry weights.  Oh I forgot,  they spend a lot of money on supplements too.  They are constantly motivated as their body gets sculpted to perfection which in turn motivates them to continue. This is a minuscule percentage, should be 3%.

What can the others do?  If your body is one of the many things that you need to focus upon, then you can plonk yourself comfortably among the 97% of those who did not make it.  This post is for the 97% of the people.  People like me.

No activity can last if its not in the center

This is a simple principle, anything that is done consistently and with a emotional it sticks on.  Which means that if you do not exercise regularly and if you are not liking it, just forget it.  So the key is consistency and emotions.  How can you get this for an activity like exercise, that is painful?

The simplest way would be to start out in small doses, but consistency is a must.  I would suggest that you do not look at returns or changes for at least 60 days.  Invest the first 60 days to accommodate this activity in your life.  Doing 15 minutes of a slow paced, non strenuous activity for 30 days will help.  Make sure, every time you do, you are happy about the consistency part and not be discouraged about doing a simple trot.  You must remember that you are just using this to get used to the activity so dont expect any changes

You do not have to Adapt

Remember its all about you.  Never try to adapt to the speed of the treadmill.  The treadmill is for man/woman and not the other way around.  Follow the instructions but never allow the equipment to dominate you.  Worse still would be to be carried away by what the others do, if you are going to a gym.

You know what your body requires, just give that.

The other areas to be developed alongside

By trying to accommodate exercise into your life  you are trying to modify your lifestyle.  Remember most activities do not work on a linear level they work best in a organic way.  So identify other areas that a linked to good health.

Food, house work, sitting posture, Reading, Trekking, etc are activities that are closely linked.  Start dealing with them too. Gently.

Motivation

Its important to be motivated and motivation is what will help you carry on with the task.  In the first 60 days your waist line or you weight loss may not motivate you.  You need to find that motivation in the consistency that you achieve. It helps to keep a log of your activity.  You can also reward yourself occasionally with a movie or by demanding a kiss by a loved one who understands the importance of consistency.

Finally if you are not really a logical person dont think logically about slimming, exercise = slimming equation will not work .  Look at it as just another activity that is worth being accommodated in your life.

Do you wanna beleive?

I insist again that its better you dont feed you children with a TV diet, for it blunts thinking and embedds wrong imagery in the mind.  I was invovled, a bit closely, in the filming of the a music program… While the entire filming by itself operates with intelligent cameras positioned in various angles, the facade of a decor, the processing of sounds and the video… every little thing is doctored.

Look at this clip about how the decor of the place is changed to the color you demand…with a mere  paint for the flowers..

Walls of fire, water and bricks

The Berlin wall fell, the trumpets brought down the Iron curtain.  The information era heralded the futility of brick & mortar and made mockery of security that relied on the safety of brick walls.  The twin towers came crashing as a reminder of this truth.  The Babel was a lesson to this, well who cared for it anyway?  On a very individual level the mind of man is to possess a land, discuss the plans with an architect, buy the best bricks, the toughest steel and the most reliable cement and then build the strong walls and iron gates to mark the boundaries merely to find the illusion of security.  It is this fortified home or city that can nurture such revolt and danger within.

If only man can occupy his mind to open his home, to bring down the walls and let the light and breeze come in, so that those who need shelter can walk in and find solace, only then will he find true security.  Is there an architect who can plan a secure home for all, dewalled- desteeled and decemented ?  The architect of this world is probably the one who did this …. he made every thing for every man to enjoy.  He gave rain for the good and the wicked.  He provided for all.

The brick walls have fallen, and as islands secured amidst deep waters and nations governed by dictators cannot stop the flow of information.  The world of knowledge has been laid bare.  Its free, its springs come drink of it.

Your security lies in the Word.
